With over 100 professionals and a portfolio spanning medical devices, implants, pharmaceuticals, and consumer healthcare products, the Group delivers fully integrated market access and commercialisation services, including regulatory affairs, marketing, sales, technical service, logistics, and distribution, serving healthcare providers in ophthalmology, gastroenterology, dermatology, aesthetics, general surgery, gynaecology, ENT, and oncology.

Entrepreneurial Leadership with Family Roots
With more than a decade of leadership experience in the medtech industry and a particular focus on ophthalmology, Dr. Thomas Sammer has held executive leadership roles within the Medical Vision Group since joining Mediconsult AG in 2014. He became CEO of Mediconsult AG in 2021 and has served as CEO of Medical Vision AG since 2025. As a family member of the Group’s founder and majority owner, Dr. Peter Graf, he is committed to preserving the Group’s entrepreneurial values while driving its continued growth and development.
His leadership is centred on building a family of companies: strong, specialised businesses led by experienced industry leaders who combine entrepreneurial independence with a strong customer focus. While each company maintains its own identity and expertise, the Group leverages synergies where collaboration creates additional value for customers, partners, and patients.
